Medical examination and gift giving to poor households and meritorious people in Da Teh commune

On October 4, the People's Committee of Da Teh commune (Lam Dong) coordinated with Thu Duc General Hospital (Ho Chi Minh City) to organize a program to examine, distribute medicine and give gifts to households in difficult circumstances in the area.

The medical team of Thu Duc General Hospital organized medical examinations, health consultations, and free medicine distribution for people in Da Teh commune.

On this occasion, the medical team of Thu Duc General Hospital examined, provided health consultation, distributed free medicine and gave gifts to 370 people in difficult circumstances in Da Teh commune. Of which, 60 especially difficult cases received additional gifts worth 500,000 VND; the team also visited, examined and gave gifts to 10 policy beneficiaries and meritorious people.

The medical team of Thu Duc General Hospital organized medical examinations, health consultations, and free medicine distribution for people in Da Teh commune.

Mr. Nguyen Hong Cuong, Vice Chairman of Da Teh Commune People's Committee, said that the program received close coordination between the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the commune, organizations, schools, police forces and youth union members, contributing to a thoughtful, safe and effective organization.
