Because of the unique residential distribution of the households here, patches of ancient white bauhinia trees only as tall as a person create beautiful check-in spots.
For the people of the Northwest, the pure white flowers symbolize steadfast loyalty and love.
Bauhinia flowers are closely associated with the cultural and spiritual life and are a typical symbol of the people of Dien Bien. However, when exploring the ancient Bauhinia forest, those born and raised in Dien Bien are also overwhelmed by the scenery of Nam Cum village in Bauhinia blooming season.

Mr. Quach The Tan (Dien Bien Phu City, Dien Bien) said that because he loves taking photos, he always looks for beautiful lands in the Northwest mountains and forests.
"The Ban flower is very familiar to me. Even though this is the second time I have come to Nam Cum, it still feels like the first time. The wild Ban flowers here have a completely different "quality", both strange and familiar.
The Ban forest here has roots and branches so old that a person can hug them. The black trunks have become rough over the years. Each patch of pure white Ban tree blooms on each bare canopy like a bonsai. To me, each Ban tree here is like a beautiful work of art of nature," Mr. Tan confided.
