The street space will be an open stage where tourists and locals can directly interact, experience and feel the depth of highland culture; at the same time, spread good traditional cultural values, creating a driving force to promote tourism and socio -economic development of localities.

Performing at the festival for the first time, Lo Thi Thanh Truc, a student at Thanh Chan High School, could not hide her pride and excitedly said: “I feel very happy to participate in the xoe dance performance at the street festival today. I want to introduce xoe dances to people from all over the country to spread the national identity.”

Ms. Lo Thi Hang in Dien Bien Phu ward also happily shared: “I feel extremely excited and proud to witness the festival imbued with the cultural identity of the highlands, especially enjoying the bustling, colorful xoè dances. The dances are not only traditional rituals, but also a vivid artistic picture, reflecting the daily life of the people…”.
