Chairman of Ba Dong Commune People's Committee, Mr. Nguyen Van Sinh directly inspected the current status of the landslide-prone area at Go Ui Mountain, Deo Lam Group (Lang Teng Village, Ba Dong Commune). The inspection team noted that this area has a large rock block, over 5m wide, about 8m high, weighing dozens of tons, lying precariously near the top of the mountain, on weak ground, hundreds of meters high, with a very steep slope.

The inspection team of the People's Committee of Ba Dong commune determined that if the heavy rain continues, this rock block will likely collapse, threatening the safety of dozens of households at the foot of the mountain and National Highway 24.

Mr. Nguyen Van Sinh said: "Every time there is heavy rain, the locality evacuates people in Deo Lam group to the Cultural House of the H're Cultural Reserve in Lang Teng to ensure safety."

According to Mr. Sinh, no cracks have been detected yet, but a plan to handle this rock mass needs to be found soon. The Chairman of the Commune People's Committee has assigned the Economic Department to urgently conduct a detailed survey and propose a solution for the Commune People's Committee leaders to consider and recommend the province to support the solution to handle the rock mass.
