Accordingly, the Dong Da District Police Investigation Agency has just issued a decision to prosecute the criminal case and the accused Pham Van Phuong (born in 1981), residing in Xuan Phu commune, Xuan Truong district, Nam Dinh and Le Van Hung (born in 1984), residing in Vinh Yen, Vinh Phuc for the crime of Intentional Infliction of Injury.

Subjects obstructed and assaulted reporters while they were working.

The Director of Hanoi City Police has directed Dong Da District Police to urgently consolidate files and documents to strictly handle the subject according to the provisions of the law.

Implementing the direction of the City Police Director, Dong Da District Police assigned the Criminal Police Team to coordinate with O Cho Dua Ward Police and functional units to urgently be present at the scene, organize investigation and verification measures according to regulations.

During the investigation, Dong Da District Police summoned Pham Van Phuong and Le Van Hung to the headquarters for questioning. At the police station, Phuong and Hung confessed to all their actions of beating and injuring Mr. TTC, a reporter for Hanoi Radio and Television.

Based on collected evidence, on June 16, 2023, the Dong Da District Police Investigation Agency issued a decision to prosecute the criminal case and prosecute Pham Van Phuong and Le Van Hung for the crime of Intentional Infliction of Injury, according to Article 134 of the Penal Code.
