Industrial promotion to support rural industrial establishments to invest and develop

(Baohatinh.vn) - With support from the industrial promotion program, many enterprises and rural industrial establishments in Ha Tinh have invested in machinery to serve the production and business process in order to increase productivity, product quality and competitiveness in the market.

Phu Sang Seafood Processing Service Cooperative (Thien Cam commune) is one of the units supported by the local industrial promotion program in 2024 with an amount of 300 million VND.

With the support of this capital source, the Cooperative has boldly added investment capital to develop production and business. In particular, from the fish sauce and seafood processing and trading unit, in June 2025, the Cooperative developed the culinary restaurant business.

From the beginning of 2025 until now, Phu Sang Seafood Processing Service Cooperative has brought to the market more than 50,000 liters of fish sauce and 550 tons of dried processed seafood.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Sang - Director of the Cooperative shared: "The support from the industrial promotion fund has created motivation for the Cooperative to develop production and business. Not only improving quality, investing in production machinery also helps the facility increase output and reduce labor time. Trusted by customers, since the beginning of the year, we have brought to the market more than 50,000 liters of fish sauce and 550 tons of dried seafood, with revenue reaching over 9 billion VND. In particular, the facility has purchased raw materials for local fishermen and created stable jobs for nearly 15 workers. In addition, the initial restaurant business is also quite positive."

XS Plus Vietnam Joint Stock Company - a company specializing in the production of nano panels, plastic floors, decorative slats... will build a factory from mid-2024 at Thai Yen Industrial Park (Duc Thinh Commune). This is also the first company in Ha Tinh to produce and distribute plastic. At the end of 2024, the company will receive 300 million VND in support under the project to apply machinery and equipment from local industrial promotion sources.

XS Plus Vietnam Joint Stock Company is a company specializing in the production of nano panels, plastic floors, and decorative slats.

Mr. Ho Xuan Sang - Director of XS Plus Vietnam Joint Stock Company said: "From the beginning of 2025 until now, we have invested over 7 billion VND to purchase modern machinery and equipment for production such as automatic raw material weighing machines, automatic mixers, heat molding machines... Thanks to investing in improving production capacity, product quality and focusing on market development, the company has now brought products to many provinces and cities across the country and is creating jobs for more than 100 workers."

Along with the above two units, many enterprises, cooperatives, and production facilities have received support from the industrial promotion fund such as Thien Loc Animal Feed Joint Stock Company (Can Loc commune) was supported with 300 million VND; Nguyen Lam Production, Trade and Service Cooperative (Ky Anh commune) was supported with 89 million VND; Hanh Cuong Agricultural Product Trade - Service - Processing Cooperative (Cam Binh commune) was supported with 160 million VND.

Nguyen Lam Cooperative is one of the establishments directly supported by industrial promotion funds.

According to the Provincial Center for Industrial Promotion and Trade Promotion (under the Department of Industry and Trade), the 2024 industrial promotion program has supported more than 1.5 billion VND for rural industrial development, including more than 1.1 billion VND for projects applying advanced machinery and equipment to industrial and handicraft production. In the period of 2021 - 2025, the industrial promotion program has supported the implementation of 57 projects with a total budget of over 7.6 billion VND, of which 25 rural industrial establishments directly benefited from the policy.

Support from industrial promotion not only relieves the "bottleneck" of capital but also creates confidence for facility owners to invest in new machinery and technology, expand production and build brands, especially small-scale facilities with little capital. From small-scale, manual production, many rural industrial facilities have transformed themselves into systematic, modern production facilities with long-term development orientation. Thereby, promoting local strengths, contributing significantly to the transformation of rural economic structure towards industrialization and modernization.

Industrial promotion policy aims to encourage and support rural industrial establishments to apply modern machinery to serve production and business.

Mr. Truong Van Thuan - Deputy Director in charge of the Provincial Center for Industrial Promotion and Trade Promotion said: The industrial promotion plan is implemented annually to encourage and support rural industrial establishments to expand production, apply advanced and modern machinery to increase productivity, product quality, and enhance competitiveness in the market. In addition to financial support, industrial promotion activities also create conditions for establishments to access training programs, brand building and trade promotion training, etc. Thanks to that, rural enterprises gradually affirm their position, expand their consumption markets, and create more jobs for workers.

In 2025, Ha Tinh will allocate 1.8 billion VND for local industrial promotion. This funding source will prioritize supporting the construction of 1-2 technical demonstration models in industrial and handicraft production; 2-4 projects to apply advanced machinery and equipment in industrial and handicraft production; support the detailed planning of 1-2 industrial clusters and other activities. Currently, the Provincial Center for Industrial Promotion and Trade Promotion is implementing activities such as training on brand and trademark building; registering to participate in the selection of typical rural industrial products at the national level in 2025; and at the same time, coordinating with localities to review and develop a project to apply machinery and equipment to submit to the Provincial People's Committee for approval.
