Kien Giang has many practical activities to celebrate the 100th anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day.

Accordingly, Kien Giang Provincial Party Committee determined that this is an activity to review the glorious tradition, the important and great contributions, the noble mission of the Vietnamese revolutionary press in the struggle for national independence, national unification, building and defending the socialist Vietnamese Fatherland. It is an opportunity to praise, honor and show gratitude to generations of journalists and press agencies with outstanding achievements; to foster and educate pride and love for the profession for journalists today.

The Kien Giang Provincial Party Committee also identified this as an opportunity to propose amendments, supplements, and promulgate mechanisms, policies, and resources to promote the development of the press, contributing to building a press team that is increasingly steadfast in political mettle, professional expertise, and professional ethics, and well implementing the requirement of "Building a professional, humane, and modern press and media" in the spirit of the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress.

According to the plan, the province plans to organize a conference "Meeting and commending outstanding journalists of Kien Giang province" and, based on the actual situation, organize seminars and discussions on mechanisms, policies, and resources for journalism activities; trends in modern journalism development; journalism mission; building a team of Vietnamese journalists to meet development requirements in the new period...

On this occasion, Kien Giang Provincial Party Committee will also review 10 years of implementing Directive No. 30-CT/TW of the Politburo on developing and strengthening the management of electronic press, social networks and other types of media on the Internet. Review the implementation of the Project "Planning for press development and management, associated with improving the quality of press activities until 2025" in Kien Giang province. Review 35 years of implementing the Kien Giang Provincial Press Awards. In addition, the province also organizes activities to show gratitude, remember the source of water. Organize social activities and volunteer activities.
