Kim Tra: Handling the situation of trapping and catching wild birds

HNN.VN - On the afternoon of September 20, Kim Tra ward authorities coordinated with the Forest Protection Department of the North Huong River area to take action to deal with the situation of setting traps for wild birds in the area.

Confiscated tools for trapping wild birds in the fields in Van Cu village

After a short time of operation, the authorities seized 50 bamboo poles, 700m of net, and 10 fake storks in the field in Van Cu village (old Huong Toan).

“In addition to this location, Bau Keng field, the field next to Nam Thanh pagoda (old Huong Toan), and some areas with many large fields in Huong Xuan and Huong Chu (old) are also at high risk, so we will organize monitoring and prevent the situation of trapping and catching wild birds,” said Mr. Dien.

Regarding the management and protection of wildlife and wild birds in the area, Mr. Hoang The Dien called on people to proactively report violators through the hotline 084.477.3030, or by phone numbers 0234.3557.261 (Forestry Ranger Department of the North Huong River area) , 0914.289.155   (Mr. Hoang The Dien - Head of the Department) to coordinate in receiving and promptly handling violations.
