10th anniversary of the establishment of Son Tra Han Nom Association

DNO - On the morning of October 15, the Son Tra Han Nom Association held a ceremony to celebrate its 10th anniversary (October 15, 2015 - October 15, 2025).

The predecessor is the Son Tra Han Nom Club, under the Danang Han Nom Center, with October 15th every year as its founding date. In 2022, the Son Tra Han Nom Club was converted into the Son Tra Han Nom Branch, under the Danang Han Nom Association.

After 10 years of establishment, the team of "Guide to learning Han Nom characters" has been firmly established on the podium; some members have the ability to translate, participating in translating many genealogies, tombstones... In which, the most prominent is the translation of the stele, parallel sentences, and couplets of the Nguyen Hoang family temple (Nghe An province) and the genealogy of the Nguyen - Binh An - Binh Quy, Thang Binh families (old Quang Nam province); some members write prose and poetry in Han characters; some others participate in the Calligraphy Club.

In the coming time, the Son Tra Han Nom Association will continue to train members who are "strong in quality, steady in quantity"; strive to participate in translating genealogies, inscriptions, and tombstones in An Hai ward in particular and Da Nang city in general; contributing to spreading Vietnam's Han Nom Heritage.
