Pacific Construction Group seeks cooperation and investment opportunities in Da Nang

DNO - On the afternoon of October 15, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Da Nang City Tran Chi Cuong chaired a meeting and worked with the Pacific Construction Group (China) led by Mr. Nghiem Gioi Hoa, the group's founder.

Speaking at the meeting, Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Tran Chi Cuong welcomed the delegation to learn about cooperation and investment opportunities in Da Nang and provide information on the city's current socio -economic situation.

The Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee said that Da Nang is aiming to become a new growth pole of Vietnam. The city is currently leading the country in attracting tourists , and is a strategic connection point between the North and the South and the East-West economic corridor.

By 2045, Da Nang strives to become an ecological and smart city, a free trade center, an international financial center, an industrial center, logistics, innovative startups, and a livable, world-class tourist city in Asia.

The Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee expressed his hope that this visit and working session of the Pacific Construction Group will be an important first step, opening a new chapter of cooperation between Da Nang city and the group.

The two sides will gradually develop smart, modern and sustainable urban projects, contributing to making Da Nang a dynamic, livable city with influence in the region.

The city will create favorable conditions for Pacific Construction Group to carry out research and survey activities and connect with relevant departments, branches and sectors, in order to soon concretize cooperation directions.

Mr. Nghiem Gioi Hoa, representative of Pacific Construction Group, expressed his impression of the systematic development planning, strategic vision and orientation of building a smart city of Da Nang city. Currently, the group is orienting Vietnam as a key market in the regional development strategy.

The Group has signed a memorandum of understanding on strategic cooperation with the Hanoi People's Committee for the period 2023 - 2027, with a total expected investment capital of not less than 5 billion USD, focusing on large-scale transport infrastructure projects such as Tu Lien Bridge, Ngoc Hoi Bridge and urban railway line No. 5 (Van Cao - Hoa Lac).

Mr. Nghiem Gioi Hoa affirmed that with experience and capacity in master planning, smart urban development, underground transport and urban railways, the group is ready to cooperate, transfer technology and share international experience to accompany Da Nang in the process of developing a modern, sustainable and regional urban area.
