Today's bank interest rates have just recorded that the Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development of Vietnam ( Agribank ) adjusted to increase 0.3%/year in interest rates for deposits with terms of 6-9 months.

According to the online interest rate table, the 6-9 month term increased to 3.5%/year. Agribank kept the interest rate unchanged for the remaining terms.

Specifically, the bank interest rate for 1-2 month term is 2.2%/year, 12-18 month term is 4.7%/year. The highest interest rate is for 24 month term, up to 4.8%/year.

Among the Big 4, Agribank is the only bank that has continuously adjusted deposit interest rates for 4 consecutive months. On October 16, Agribank increased deposit interest rates by 0.2% per year for terms from 1-5 months, and decreased deposit interest rates by 0.1% per year for terms from 6-11 months.

Previously, in September 2024, Agribank increased 0.2%/year for 1-2 month deposit terms and increased 0.3%/year for 3-5 month term deposits.

In August 2024, Agribank increased 0.2%/year for 1-2 month term, increased 0.3%/year for 3-5 month term, and increased 0.1%/year for 24 month term.

After 4 consecutive adjustments, interest rates for terms under 12 months at Agribank are significantly different from the remaining 3 banks in the Big 4 group.

The 1-2 month term interest rate at Agribank is 0.2%/year higher than BIDV and VietinBank, and 0.4%/year higher than Vietcombank.

The 3-5 month term interest rate at Agribank is 0.4%/year higher than BIDV and VietinBank, and 0.8%/year higher than Vietcombank .

The 6-9 month term interest rate announced by Agribank is 0.2%/year higher than BIDV and VietinBank, and 0.4%/year higher than Vietcombank.

For long terms, interest rates at BIDV and Vietinbank are slightly higher, with listed interest rates at 4.9-5%/year for 24-36 month terms, while at Agribank it is 4.8%/year, and at VietinBank it is 4.7%/year.

According to statistics, Agribank is the third bank to adjust interest rates in November after ABBank and Techcombank.

Previously, on November 5, Techcombank increased interest rates for deposits with terms of less than 6 months. On November 4, ABBank increased interest rates for deposits with terms of 6-11 months.
