Dak Lak has 1 individual honored as "Beautiful Youth" in 2025

On the evening of October 11, in Hanoi, the Central Committee of the Vietnam Youth Union honored 20 examples of "Beautiful Youth" in 2025. Among them, Dak Lak province has 1 individual, Senior Lieutenant Ho Ngoc Thien Thu (born 1999), police officer of Buon Ma Thuot ward.

Senior Lieutenant Ho Ngoc Thien Thu is one of the young female soldiers who pioneered the application of technology to serve the people and actively spread the spirit of volunteerism in the community.

With a creative spirit, she has advised on building and maintaining the Zalo model "Connecting social networks - Peace for every family", creating an effective bridge between the police force and the people, contributing to preventing and fighting crimes and social evils.

At the same time, she developed the initiative "A set of video instructions on how to submit online public service applications in Vietnamese and Ede languages", helping people, especially ethnic minorities, to more easily access administrative procedures.

Not only is she good at her profession, Senior Lieutenant Ho Ngoc Thien Thu also actively participates in charity work. The model "Adopted Children of Commune Police" that she advised directly adopted two children with especially difficult circumstances. She also coordinated with organizations and unions to give gifts to dialysis patients, poor children and many disadvantaged households in the area.

With her outstanding contributions, Senior Lieutenant Ho Ngoc Thien Thu has received certificates of merit from all levels and sectors from the central to local levels. In 2024, she was honored as an "Excellent Grassroots Female Police Officer".

The "Youth with a Beautiful Life" Award is annually launched by the Central Committee of the Vietnam Youth Union to honor and commend outstanding young people with jobs, noble and humane actions, demonstrating the spirit of solidarity, mutual love, sharing difficulties with the community, transmitting positive energy to society, especially young people.
