Taking place earlier the same day, Hanoi Police Club struggled to beat Cebu FC (Philippines) with the only goal scored by Vietnamese-American defender Cao Pendant Quang Vinh in the 89th minute. After 2 matches, the Police team has 3 points, temporarily ranked 4th in Group A.
