Leaders of the Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, Fatherland Front Committee, and armed forces of Hiep Thanh ward visited each household affected by the tornado to encourage and visit.

Mr. Lam Danh Nhan, Chairman of Hiep Thanh Ward People's Committee, said: At around 4:00 p.m. on October 21, a thunderstorm accompanied by a tornado suddenly swept through the area of ​​Giong Giua A and Bien Tay A (Hiep Thanh Ward), blowing off the roofs and collapsing the walls of 9 houses, and knocking down many longan trees of the residents. Of these, 3 houses were severely damaged, the remaining 6 houses were less damaged. The total property damage was initially estimated at more than 200 million VND. Fortunately, there were no human casualties.

Local armed forces helped households clean up their houses and collect broken pieces of metal after the tornado.

Immediately after the disaster, leaders of Hiep Thanh Ward People's Committee were present at the scene to inspect, count the damage and direct local forces to quickly support people to overcome the consequences. The local government allocated initial support funds for 3 households with severe damage, each with 20 million VND; 6 households with roofs blown off or slightly damaged were supported with 5 million VND/household.

The house of Mrs. Son Thi Phuc (Giong Giua A hamlet) was devastated after the tornado. This was the most severely damaged household among the 9 households.

Along with financial support, ward leaders visited and encouraged affected households, and mobilized armed forces to help repair houses, clean up fallen trees, and ensure safety in the area.

Receiving timely attention and support from the government, the representative of Ms. Son Thi Bo's household (Giong Giua A hamlet), one of the severely damaged households, emotionally shared: "My family is very grateful to the local government for visiting, encouraging and providing timely support. This money helps us to repair our house and stabilize our lives soon."
