Spreading the school sports movement from the Hanoi Primary School Basketball Tournament 2025

On September 23, in Hanoi, the launching ceremony and professional training of the 19th Hanoi Primary School Basketball Tournament - Nestlé MILO Cup 2025 officially took place, opening a season that promises to be dramatic and exciting.

After 18 years of organization, the tournament has grown significantly: from a modest number of 16 boys and girls teams from 8 schools, to now there are about 150 teams from nearly 100 elementary schools in the city participating. This shows the strong attraction and increasingly widespread reach of this meaningful school sports playground.

At the launching ceremony, the organizing committee announced the organization plan and disseminated professional innovations to help schools prepare best. The drawing ceremony for the competition schedule will take place on October 23.

The qualifying round is scheduled to start on November 1, 2, 8 and 9 at 4 schools: Ngo Quyen Primary School, Newton Goldmark Primary School, Dich Vong B Primary School and Archimedes Academy Primary School.

At the end of the qualifying round, 16 male teams (15 excellent teams and 1 special team) and 16 female teams will qualify for the final round, held on November 22-23 at Sac Newton Primary School.

The Hanoi Primary School Basketball Tournament is annually organized by the Young Pioneers & Children Newspaper, with the support of Nestlé Vietnam Co., Ltd. - Nestlé MILO brand. Over the past 18 years, the tournament has become a beneficial sports activity, receiving the attention and support of education leaders, school principals, teachers, parents and especially thousands of students who love basketball.
