Leaders of ministries and branches experience AI solutions at AI4VN 2023

Representatives of the Ministry of Science and Technology and visitors visited and experienced self-shopping robots, virtual reality glasses, smart healthcare, AI receptionists... at the AI ​​Expo exhibition on the morning of September 22.

The AI ​​Summit opened this morning (September 22) with the participation of government leaders, ministries, large corporations, scientists and especially the community of people interested in technology development and AI applications. At this forum, famous domestic and international speakers brought real stories and shared experiences to contribute to the development of the AI ​​ecosystem in Vietnam.

Before the main event, Mr. Huynh Thanh Dat, Minister of Science and Technology, and many guests visited the AI ​​Expo technology exhibition area within the framework of the AI4VN 2023 festival.

AI Expo has 30 booths of technology companies and universities, such as Aqua Vietnam, AI Next Global,FPT , Naver, VinBigdata, VNPT... Facial recognition technology immediately recognized the person arriving as Minister Huynh Thanh Dat and sent him a good morning greeting.

The Ho Chi Minh City University of Economics (UEH) booth features many VR interactive activities and piano-playing robots. In the photo, leaders experience creating music by jumping on a piano-key-simulating carpet. Each time a key is touched, the screen will play a cheerful musical note with fun effects. The school also introduces 13 training programs related to technology and computer applications.

The Minister was attentive to the demonstration of the automatic shopping solution of the Ho Chi Minh City University of Technical Education. When the can of water fell into the shopping cart, the Minister commented: "That's good" and suggested that it is possible to integrate payment via e-wallet to increase convenience for users.

FPT representative introduced products for smart homes. The device can connect to the phone to help users manage performance and fuel remotely.

A booth displaying medical products with many solutions for diagnosing musculoskeletal diseases of a Korean company. Leaders experienced and viewed the results of data analysis. "If I come to Korea, I will contact you to experience it," the Minister said after learning about the product's features.

The Minister talked with Oppo representatives while experiencing the Air Glass virtual reality technology glasses. He paid attention to the ability to analyze, remind the weather, and display text for presentations. The Minister highly appreciated the product and suggested improving the design to increase aesthetics.

At the AI ​​Next Global exhibition area, the Minister expressed his interest in AI text and speech generation technology. He tested this feature by entering the command: "Opening speech of the Vietnam Artificial Intelligence Day event. The result will be displayed within 30 seconds with about 500 words".

At 9:00 a.m., the leaders concluded the tour and entered the main hall to attend the AI ​​Summit.

AI4VN 2023 , with the theme "Power for Life", will take place at Riverside Palace, 360D Ben Van Don, District 4, Ho Chi Minh City.
