On the morning of October 30, a working delegation from the Cuban Small Farmers' Association and the Central Vietnam Farmers' Association had a working session with the Dong Nai Provincial Party Committee and visited and studied the rice growing model in Binh Hoa commune, Vinh Cuu district, Dong Nai province.

The delegation of the Cuban Small Farmers' Association was headed by Comrade Félix Duarte Ortega, member of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba, President of the Cuban Small Farmers' Association. Attending the delegation were Comrade Phan Nhu Nguyen - Alternate member of the Central Committee of the Party, Permanent Vice President of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Farmers' Association. Along with representatives of the Cuban Small Farmers' Association members, the Committees and units under the Central Committee of the Vietnam Farmers' Association. On the side of the Dong Nai Provincial Party Committee, attending and receiving the delegation were Comrade Ho Thanh Son - Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Dong Nai Provincial Party Committee and representatives of the leaders of the Provincial Committees, branches and Departments.
At the working session, comrade Ho Thanh Son - Standing Deputy Secretary of Dong Nai Provincial Party Committee introduced the socio -economic development situation, especially agriculture of Dong Nai province to the Cuban Small Farmers Association and the Central Vietnam Farmers' Union.
Comrade Félix Duarte Ortega, member of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba, President of the Cuban Small Farmers Association, thanked the warm welcome from the leaders of Dong Nai province and hoped that the two sides would strengthen cooperation and people-to-people exchanges between the two localities. Thereby, contributing to fostering the special solidarity and friendship between Vietnam and Cuba.
