Da Nang city leaders inspect school construction projects

The project to expand and upgrade Nguyen Phan Vinh Primary School, Campus 1 (Son Tra Ward) has a total cost of more than 160 billion VND, including site clearance, compensation, construction and renovation of school blocks. The project implementation period is from 2025 to 2028.

Nguyen Phan Vinh Primary School, Campus 1, has a current area of ^3,696m2 . To expand the school, the city will reclaim the commercial service land area coded A14-1 Hoang Sa Street with an area of ^910m2 ; reclaim and expand the school campus area towards neighboring households and the current concrete road in the southern area, with a total recovered land area according to the planning plan of nearly ^2,000m2 including 14 residential plots.

After investing in facility 1, Nguyen Phan Vinh Primary School will merge facility 2 to ensure teaching and management.

The project to upgrade and renovate the facilities of Thai Phien High School (Thanh Khe Ward) has a total investment of more than 22 billion VND; expected to be implemented in the period 2025 - 2027.

Repair items include: renovating door systems, replacing floor tiles, replacing roof systems, waterproofing floors; renovating electrical systems and other auxiliary items.

The project to build new, renovate and upgrade Hoang Dieu Secondary School (Thanh Khe Ward) has a total investment of nearly 30 billion VND; implemented in the period 2025 - 2027.

In which, dismantling the 3-storey classroom and subject block and building a new 4-storey classroom and subject block, 5-storey load-bearing structure with a construction area of about ^776m2 , construction floor area of ^2,978m2 ; renovating the 3-storey classroom and subject block (block number 2)...

The Nguyen Van Troi Primary School project (campus 1) at the new location (Hoa Khanh ward) has a total cost of nearly 170 billion VND. Of which, the compensation and site clearance cost is more than 41 billion VND.

Investment preparation work will be carried out in 2025, and project implementation will take place in the 2025 - 2028 period.

After the investment, Nguyen Van Troi Primary School (facility 1) has 30 classrooms, 9 subject rooms, a principal's office, functional rooms, a multi-purpose yard...; replacing the old facility (address 565 Ton Duc Thang Street) which is currently degraded, has a small area, and does not ensure the school's teaching and learning conditions.

After inspecting the situation and listening to reports from schools, localities, relevant departments and branches, Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Tran Anh Tuan agreed on the investment policy for a number of school projects in Son Tra ward, Thanh Khe ward and Hoa Khanh ward.

At the same time, assign the relevant departments and branches to promptly complete the specific plan. This includes clearly defining the class size associated with the forecast of the universal survey, the policy of organizing 2 sessions/day of teaching; focusing on clearance, compensation, and investment phase division, avoiding scattered and ineffective investment...

On that basis, the City People's Committee reviews and approves to ensure project progress.
