Provincial People's Committee leaders worked with the working delegation of the German Development Cooperation Organization.

On the afternoon of October 10, Comrade Nguyen Long Bien, member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee had a working session with the delegation of the German Development Cooperation Organization (GIZ). Ms. Beate Dippmar, Director of the Program "Reforming vocational training in Vietnam" (TVET, GIZ) paid a courtesy visit to the leaders of the Provincial People's Committee and presented an overview of the results achieved, as well as discussed the priorities in developing skills or vocational training in the present and future of Ninh Thuan province.

Reporting at the working session, the leader of Ninh Thuan Vocational College (CĐN) said: In the period of 2018-2024, GIZ has supported the school in developing vocational education (VET) in the following aspects: Communication, enrollment; training to improve the capacity of teachers and managers; business cooperation; transfer of training programs according to German standards; development experts; support for training equipment; arrangement of workshops; scientific research; support for short-term training courses; gender equality; implementation of the DPP Public-Private Partnership Project. GIZ's support activities have contributed to helping the school enroll 700-800 students/year; of which, 3 occupations supported by GIZ account for 30% of the total enrollment of 12 occupations. Through a follow-up survey, the rate of students having jobs after training is over 80%.

Through the report of the leaders of Ninh Thuan Vocational College and the speech of Ms. Beate Dippmar, along with the members of the GIZ Working Group, on behalf of the leaders of the Provincial People's Committee, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee acknowledged, thanked and highly appreciated the support of GIZ to Ninh Thuan Vocational College in particular and Ninh Thuan province in general. The support activities in the past time have helped Ninh Thuan Vocational College improve the capacity of the management team and training in engineering and renewable energy, gradually forming an excellent training center for renewable energy. In addition, GIZ has also supported Ninh Thuan province to establish the Provincial Vocational Education Council, which is also the first Vocational Education Council in the country. In the coming time, Ninh Thuan province will promote the role of the Provincial Vocational Education Council; strengthen the connection between the three parties "State - School and Enterprise" to link training and use of labor to meet the requirements of the market.

The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee hopes that GIZ will continue to support the province in effectively operating the activities of sub-committees as well as the Provincial Vocational Education Council; continue to maintain the implemented programs and projects; at the same time, pay attention to and select Ninh Thuan Vocational College for support in the new phase, contributing to helping the school become a high-quality school by 2025, becoming an excellent training center on renewable energy...
