“The Xiaomi 17 is a small flagship with a 7,000 mAh battery, so there’s really no need to worry about battery life. I still remember when the project was launched, everyone was very surprised,” said CEO Lei Jun.

The statement of Xiaomi CEO quickly attracted the attention of the technology community, especially after Xiaomi 17 was introduced in China at the end of September. The biggest highlight of the product lies in the new battery technology. The high-end version of Xiaomi 17 Pro uses Jinshajiang batteries with a silicon ratio of up to 16%, helping to increase energy density and extend battery life. In addition to the large capacity battery, Xiaomi equipped the new flagship model with a 3-dimensional ring cooling system (ring cold pump).
