Speaking at the closing ceremony, People's Artist Xuan Bac - Chairman of the festival's Jury Board affirmed that the plays participating in the festival all aim for the beauty of truth - goodness - beauty, suitable for the age and taste of teenagers and children. The themes of the works participating in the festival range from fairy tales, Vietnamese folk tales, teenage heroes, fairy tales around the world , characters in comics, cartoons, popular video games to social issues, about family, about friends, about school violence or painful problems happening in reality.

"The works participating in the festival all have serious investment and refinement from each unit, each artist in each role, performance - combined with creative components such as: author, director, music , art, costumes, sound and light. The plays are invested in new technology - techniques, familiar dialogue trends for children have created interactive effects, exciting, explosive performances between artists and audiences", People's Artist Xuan Bac emphasized.

People's Artist Xuan Bac - Chairman of the festival's Jury Council spoke at the closing ceremony.

Besides many bright spots, the festival still has many limitations. There are too few authors and stage works for children, and some creative elements and actors still bring an adult perspective to their entries.

“Many units have not really distinguished clearly between works about children and works for children, leading to some plays in this festival not really attracting young audiences. Some works also have loose structures, lack of persuasion, incoherent stories, inappropriate and sensitive situations, which can easily cause confusion in young audiences' perception of the meaning and message of the work,” People's Artist Xuan Bac commented.

In addition, the entries are mostly foreign stories or stories inspired by foreign countries, partly proving the lack of attractive scripts from Vietnamese folk stories and plays.
