The number of visitors to Quang Nam in October decreased compared to the same period last year.

This is partly due to the impact of typhoon Yagi, which caused many international flights to be canceled, along with domestic tourists canceling tours due to bad weather, so the number of visitors to Quang Nam decreased compared to the same period.

In October, there were 373 thousand international visitors to Quang Nam (down 9% year-on-year); domestic visitors reached 94.5 thousand visitors (down 2% year-on-year). Social income from tourism in October is estimated at 1,457 billion VND.

Since the beginning of the year, the total number of visitors and tourists staying in the first 10 months is estimated at over 6.9 million (up 5% over the same period). Of which, international visitors are estimated at 4.6 million, and domestic visitors are estimated at over 2.3 million.

Revenue from tourism and accommodation in Quang Nam in the first 10 months is estimated at 6.85 trillion VND (up 7% over the same period). Social income from tourism is estimated at more than 16 trillion VND.
