Practice in preparation for the 2024 Provincial Military Zone Exercise

On October 8, the Steering Committee (SC) and the Organizing Committee (OC) of the provincial defense zone exercise organized a practice to prepare for the 2024 provincial defense zone exercise.

Implementing the Directive of the Military Region 2 Command and the Directive of the Provincial Party Committee on organizing the Phu Tho Provincial Military Zone 2 exercise in 2024, after 5 months since the Military Region 2 Command coordinated with the Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial People's Committee to deploy the 2024 Provincial Military Zone 2 exercise plan, the departments, agencies, branches and organizations of the province have actively and synchronously deployed the preparation work for the exercise. Up to now, the contents have been completed, ensuring the progress and time according to the plan.

The National Defense Emergency Command deployed measures to put the locality into a state of national defense emergency, chaired by the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee.

In order for the provincial KVPT exercise to be effective and of high quality, the Provincial KVPT Exercise Organizing Committee unanimously directed the organization of concentrated exercises, aiming to practice the actions of the components in the exercise framework according to each position, function, and task of the agencies and units, especially the roles of the comrades in charge and heads of the provincial sectors associated with specific situations on national defense and security according to the exercise topics issued by the Provincial KVPT Exercise Organizing Committee.

Speaking at the training session, Provincial Party Secretary Bui Minh Chau - Head of the Provincial Military Training Steering Committee requested: Comrades in the province's training framework, training framework of departments, agencies and forces participating in the training need to focus on comprehensive research, grasp the contents of each training issue, each position; participate in the training with the right number of members and the prescribed time; organize training closely, close to reality, attach the content of the industry's activities to the national defense and security situations according to the given situations; operate flexibly, discuss the contents related to the activities of agencies and units.

Provincial Party Secretary Bui Minh Chau emphasized that during the training process, each comrade, according to his position and responsibility, must self-adjust and supplement the content appropriately, and self-learn from experience to achieve high results when practicing. Comrades in the province's training framework and departments, agencies and branches must uphold the sense of responsibility in training and practicing; promptly learn from experience to continue editing, supplementing and perfecting, serving the general rehearsal and official training, responding well to the task of the provincial KVPT training in 2024.

Next was the Provincial Party Executive Committee conference to issue a Resolution to lead the transition of the locality into wartime; The Provincial People's Council Special Session issued a Resolution to transition the locality into wartime; The Provincial Military Party Committee approved the adjusted defensive combat determination of the Commander of the Provincial Military Command; The Provincial People's Committee organized coordination and gave instructions to ensure in defensive combat.

In parallel with the conferences on the mechanism operation of the province, the departments, agencies, unions, Phong Chau town, Phu Ninh district also simultaneously deployed training conferences on the mechanism operation according to decentralization.

After a day of active practice, according to the assessment of the Provincial KVPT Exercise Steering Committee, the components and forces have done a good job of preparing for the practice such as: Directive documents, practice organization; system of documents, answers to ensure practice of roles from the host to other components in the conference; preparing the practice areas for the mechanism and facilities to ensure meeting the requirements.

Departments, branches, agencies and units have promoted the sense of responsibility, thoroughly grasped and organized their agencies and units to do a good job of preparation, and at the same time organized training with the right content, ensuring the time according to the proposed program. Each individual has actively studied the content of the lesson, creatively applied it according to the functions and tasks of each branch, close to the local situation. In particular, the leaders who chaired the conferences clearly demonstrated the methods and styles of the heads, maintained smooth operation and on time as prescribed.

In addition, the training session still has some shortcomings that need to be overcome such as: The content in the document is still incorrect; some comments are still long, scattered and not really focused. Some roles in the training frames have not yet escaped the text; when the conference host questioned the content, the person answering the question still had content that was not close and unclear.

To do well the preparation for the general rehearsal and official exercise, commenting after the practice session, Provincial Party Secretary Bui Minh Chau requested the comrades in the Provincial Military Zone Exercise Steering Committee, the components in the practice framework and the support and support forces to continue to thoroughly grasp the tasks, build high will, solidarity, determination to carry out and excellently complete the 2024 military zone exercise task. After the practice session, the agencies, units, and sub-committees inspected and carefully reviewed the documents prepared for the exercise by the leaders and agencies of departments, branches, sectors, and organizations; checked the preparation of facilities and conditions to ensure the general rehearsal and official exercise.

Agencies and units coordinate closely, carefully prepare all stages and steps, especially communication work, preparation for welcoming delegates, guests, and visitors; arrange accommodation for delegates to ensure the success of the exercise. Regarding the contents related to the A2 live-fire exercise, combat shooting exercise and the process of moving into the combat base (assumed) and moving between exercise areas, relevant functional forces coordinate closely to inspect, do a good job of preparation, command, and operation to ensure absolute safety; do not film or take photos during the A2 situation exercise of the police force.
