On October 6, Associate Professor, Doctor Do Hung Kien, Deputy Director of K Hospital, together with representatives of the Bright Tomorrow Cancer Patient Support Fund and doctors from the Pediatric Internal Medicine Department presented 60 Mid-Autumn Festival gifts and 1 million VND in cash to each child being treated at the hospital.

Directly visiting and encouraging each case, the Board of Directors of K Hospital expressed deep sympathy for the children who are fighting the disease day and night, and at the same time acknowledged the efforts of the medical team and doctors of the Pediatric Internal Medicine Department in applying many advanced treatment methods and regimens to improve the treatment effectiveness for children.

At the same time, the hospital's Board of Directors encouraged the medical staff of the Pediatrics Department to continue to encourage, understand the wishes and aspirations, and share the circumstances of each patient.

“My 3-year-old daughter has retinoblastoma and can’t see anything, but she still feels everyone’s care. In the past few days, groups have been coming to give gifts, and today the hospital and the Bright Tomorrow Fund have also given gifts, so she’s very happy. I feel warm because the Mid-Autumn Festival atmosphere is still warm in the hospital, the children can play, and the parents are more at ease,” said Tran Thi L., mother of a child patient.

Previously, in the past week since September 29, the children being treated at K Hospital have received the support of 182 groups, giving 2,550 gifts and more than 1.2 billion VND in cash. Many volunteer groups have come directly to encourage, organize Mid-Autumn Festival programs and give gifts, bringing laughter and a bustling atmosphere to the children.

The excitement was always present on the faces of the children when receiving the gifts given by the delegation. Hopefully, that sharing and love will be spread so that children across the country in general, and children with unfortunate illnesses in particular, all children can enjoy a full and complete Mid-Autumn Festival in the loving and sharing arms of the whole community.

It is known that every year on the occasion of Mid-Autumn Festival, the Board of Directors of K Hospital and the Bright Tomorrow Cancer Patient Support Fund will organize a gift giving ceremony for children being treated at the hospital.
