On the evening of October 4 (local time), at Thang Long Trade Center (Budapest), the Vietnamese Association in Hungary organized the 2025 Community Mid-Autumn Festival for teenagers, children, and overseas Vietnamese living, studying, and working in Hungary.
Attending the program were: Vietnamese Ambassador to Hungary Bui Le Thai, along with many officials, employees and families of the Embassy, community members, Vietnamese associations in Hungary, parents and children.
Speaking at the program, emphasizing the profound meaning of the Mid-Autumn Festival, Vietnamese Ambassador to Hungary Bui Le Thai said that the Mid-Autumn Festival is not only a children's festival but also an occasion for family reunion, for the whole family to gather and share the joy of reunion, for the young generation to understand more about national culture and preserve the good values of Vietnamese culture even though they are living far away from the Fatherland.

In the bustling, warm, joyful atmosphere of the Mid-Autumn Festival night, Ambassador Bui Le Thai shared: "The moon in the sky of Budapest today is also the moon that our loved ones are looking at in their homeland. Each moon cake, each lantern is not only a taste of childhood, but also a thread connecting us to our national roots."
Expressing his trust and expectations for the young generation, Ambassador Bui Le Thai affirmed that the Vietnamese Embassy in Hungary always cares, encourages and motivates them in a timely manner so that they can strive to study well, become dutiful children in their families, excellent members of the community and useful citizens for the country.

The Mid-Autumn Festival program took place in an exciting atmosphere with many special performances such as lion dance, lantern procession, feast breaking, children's performances, and Mid-Autumn Festival gift giving to children. Besides the joy of celebrating the Mid-Autumn Festival, the program was also an opportunity for the community to meet, exchange, review the traditions of their homeland and show the spirit of solidarity and attachment among the Vietnamese community in Hungary.
This year's Mid-Autumn Festival program has left many deep impressions, not only bringing joy to children but also arousing in each child living abroad pride in their roots, love for their homeland and solidarity of the Vietnamese community in Hungary.
