According to the score distribution of all subjects in the 2025 high school graduation exam just announced by the Ministry of Education and Training, geography is the subject with a score distribution skewed to the right, meaning there are more high scores.

Notably, this is the subject with the most 10 points among all the subjects, with 6,907 10 points, more than double the 2024 exam (3,175 10 points).

On the other hand, the number of failing exams (1 point or less) in geography also decreased compared to last year when there were only 19 failing exams (last year was 94); this year there were only 3 exams with a score of 0 while last year was 76.

However, this year's average score for geography is lower than last year's with a score of 6.63 (last year it was 7.19).

The locality leading in geography exam scores is Ninh Binh with an average score of 7,224 points.
