On the morning of February 3 (December 24), many students of the University of Agriculture and Forestry ( Hue University) were present early, waiting for the free bus sponsored by the school to take them home to celebrate Tet.
Students arrived at school early, eagerly boarding the beloved bus to return home for Tet.
The students receiving support this time are from difficult circumstances, come from remote areas and are subject to the school's policies.
Eagerly loading his luggage onto the bus, Than Ngoc Luyen, a fourth-year veterinary student, could not hide his joy and emotion as he shared: "Students studying far from home like me always have certain difficulties during Tet. Luckily, this year the school continued to give me gifts and support me with a bus to go home. I feel very secure and lucky that there is no longer a situation of being crammed like on a bus."
Associate Professor, Dr. Tran Thanh Duc, Principal of the University of Agriculture and Forestry (Hue University), encouraged and kindly gave gifts to disadvantaged students.

"Every year, the journey home for Tet is very difficult for students, especially those who live far away or in mountainous areas. Therefore, the school has accompanied companies, businesses, employees, as well as students and alumni to organize a trip home for Tet for the students. This is the 10th year the school has organized this program. We hope that the students will return home safely and economically to have a warm and united Tet with their families," said Associate Professor, Dr. Tran Thanh Duc.
An excited student before the love bus rolls out
Previously, the staff and lecturers of the University of Agriculture and Forestry (Hue University) had mobilized sponsorship from benefactors who were alumni and businesses. The school also combined with the annual spring lottery program to raise funds.
This year, there were 4 "love buses" departing from the University of Agriculture and Forestry to take more than 170 students home to celebrate Tet. On this occasion, the organizing committee also gave more than 500 gifts to more than 500 students in difficult circumstances; gave 26 Tet gifts and cash support to Lao students studying at the school on the occasion of Lunar New Year.
Before the bus left, teachers from the University of Agriculture and Forestry (Hue University) kindly encouraged and sent bread and bottles of water so that the students could have a safe and warm trip home to celebrate Tet.
