On the morning of September 14, the opening ceremony of the 2025 - 2029 course of the University of Economics , Hue University took place in the excitement and energy of thousands of new students, staff and lecturers of the school.

In his welcome speech, Associate Professor Dr. Truong Tan Quan, Principal of the University of Economics, Hue University, sent many important messages to the new students, emphasizing that developing and nurturing personality is an important and priority goal.

Therefore, I hope that with the love of teachers and friends at this school, you will continue to nurture the kind, tolerant and loving personality that is inherent in you," Mr. Quan emphasized.

When you determine that, you will be aware of studying and when you go out into the world, you will contribute to improving the situation of truth and falsehood or gold and brass mixed together, or doing business regardless of the price, trampling on all social norms. We must consider knowledge and understanding as a premise for liberation, first of all, liberation for your own mind and yourself...", Mr. Quan said.

At the ceremony, new student Nguyen Thi Quynh Tien, valedictorian (scored 26.1 points) of the University of Economics, Hue University, represented nearly 2,400 students to express her feelings.

Tien expressed that every student entering the university has their own dreams, ambitions, and reasons for choosing this place as the starting point for their journey to the future. For Tien, the reason she chose the University of Economics, Hue University is because it not only has a long tradition, friendly and enthusiastic teaching staff, but also a dynamic and modern environment.

At the ceremony, the University of Economics, Hue University received the Certificate of Education Quality Accreditation for 7 undergraduate programs and 1 master's program, including the following majors: Business Administration, Marketing, Commercial Business, Auditing, Banking, Economic Informatics, Planning - Investment and Master's Program in Economic Management.

Up to now, the University of Economics, Hue University has completed the quality assessment of educational institutions and received the Certificate of Quality Assessment of Educational Institutions meeting the second cycle of educational quality standards. At the same time, 10 training programs have been assessed for quality according to the standards of the Ministry of Education and Training.
