"We rewrote the way we work"

At the end of 2023, when Nagase officially launched its digital transformation program, they did not choose to outsource the solution development team. Instead, the journey started from within - the company's own staff - when they established the RPA Center of Excellence (CoE).

One of the typical faces is Ms. Lai Thi Huyen Trang - a Customer Service employee, who has been with the company for many years. Without any professional knowledge of technology, after participating in the company's RPA training course and with the support of the CoE team, Ms. Trang understood the process logic and personally built "bots" to automate data entry into the system and daily data extraction - tasks that used to take a lot of time.

"I used to think that technology would replace my job. But when I started to understand RPA, I changed the way I think, work every day and realized that I am the one who masters technology" - Ms. Huyen Trang shared.

DX is not just a tool but a long-term strategy

From a strategic perspective, Mr. Maisai Tsutomu - CEO of Nagase Vietnam - believes that digital transformation is not simply a "temporary trend", but a path of sustainable development, associated with the goal of improving organizational capacity and adaptability to continuous market fluctuations.

"Our mission as Japanese employees working in Vietnam is to contribute to the Vietnamese people and to this country.

From ordinary staff to "spreading factor"

Since the end of 2023, the CoE team has coordinated with departments to deploy more than 50 RPA processes, saving more than 2,000 working hours per year. Notably, 100% of these processes were built by internal staff who are not IT specialists.

"I never thought I could understand code logic. But when I saw the first bot I wrote run successfully, I believed that with the right mindset and teammates, anyone can do it" - quoted Ms. Dang Thi Ngoc Anh - Accounting staff - another member of the CoE team.
