Women's Union of Regiment 271 actively accompanies new soldiers

Professional soldier Captain Pham Thi Huong - President of the Women's Union of Regiment 271 said: "With the spirit of solidarity, dynamism and creativity, the officers and members of the Women's Union of Regiment 271 always promote their roles and responsibilities in all areas of work. The Union has closely followed the direction of the Party Committee, the Regiment Commander and superiors to effectively carry out tasks, emulation movements, and build a strong union organization."

The Women's Union of Regiment 271 has effectively implemented many practical and in-depth movements and models. Notably, the "Godmother" program continues to be maintained effectively, with profound humanitarian meaning. The Union has adopted 3 orphans due to the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic; every month, it mobilizes members and officers and soldiers in the unit to contribute and give gifts worth 500,000 VND/gift, contributing to sharing and encouraging the children to strive in life.

The model of “Supporting the training season” is also maintained regularly and systematically by the Association. This is a practical activity to raise the spirit and encourage officers and soldiers during training and work. Up to now, the Association has organized over 30 support sessions, each session serving drinking water to nearly 100 officers and soldiers, with a total cost of 10 million VND.

In addition, female members always proactively overcome difficulties, actively participate in emulation activities, perform well in life logistics, contribute to maintaining discipline, building a green, clean and beautiful environment in the unit. The Women's Union of the Regiment also focuses on propaganda, education and mobilization of members to strictly comply with the law and military discipline; build moral qualities, a pure and healthy lifestyle; maintain family happiness and contribute to building a strong and comprehensive unit.

To celebrate the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Women's Union (October 20, 1930 - October 20, 2025), the unit organized many meaningful activities such as commemorative meetings, three-region culinary competitions, etc., creating an exciting and competitive atmosphere throughout the unit.

Lieutenant Colonel Hoang Manh Hien - Political Commissar of Regiment 271 said: "The activities to celebrate Vietnamese Women's Day October 20 not only show gratitude to women, but also are an opportunity to recognize and arouse the sense of responsibility and creativity in each member. The Party Committee and the Regiment Command always pay attention and create favorable conditions for the Women's Union to promote its role and actively contribute to the overall development of the unit."

Although the number of members is not large and the working conditions are still difficult, with a high sense of responsibility, the cadres and women members of Regiment 271 always uphold their sense of responsibility, actively study and practice, ready to receive and complete all assigned tasks. Many members have been commended and rewarded by commanders at all levels.
