According to the report, in 2024, the Quang Nam Civil Judgment Enforcement Department will closely follow the work program and plan of the Ministry of Justice and the General Department of Civil Judgment Enforcement to deploy many drastic solutions and effectively carry out assigned tasks.

In the working year 2024, the Quang Nam Civil Judgment Enforcement Department must handle more than 14,700 cases, with a total amount of more than VND 7,100 billion. Of which, more than 8,600 cases have been executed out of a total of 10,147 cases eligible for execution (reaching nearly 85.4%), exceeding 1.8% compared to the target assigned by the General Department (83.55%). The amount executed is equivalent to VND 400 billion out of a total of VND 750 billion eligible for execution (reaching 53.2%), exceeding 6.5% compared to the target assigned by the General Department (46.65%).

With drastic solutions, the work of recovering assets that were misappropriated or lost in criminal cases of corruption, economic and enforcement related to credit and banking has achieved encouraging results.

During the year, the Quang Nam Civil Judgment Enforcement Department completed 13/25 cases with conditions for enforcement and collected nearly 1 billion VND related to criminal cases of corruption and economic crimes. Regarding bank credit cases, 78/281 cases with conditions for enforcement were completed with a sum of nearly 170 billion VND.

The Department has organized many meetings to direct the execution of judgments, promptly removing difficulties and obstacles arising in the execution of many important cases such as the Bach Dat An case, administrative cases...

In addition, coordinating agencies such as the Provincial People's Procuracy, the Provincial Police and relevant units actively support in enforcing non-compliance with legally effective judgments.

Speaking at the conference, Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Phan Thai Binh commended the industry's achievements in 2024. At the same time, he requested the entire industry to thoroughly grasp and strictly implement the regulations, not allowing violations to affect the industry's reputation.

“In the context of having to face many pressures and difficulties from the general situation, the collective of cadres, civil servants and public employees of the enforcement sector has made great efforts, handled many complicated cases; promptly advised the provincial leaders to have directions to resolve a number of arising issues.

In the coming time, based on practical experience, it is recommended that the entire industry review judgments and cases, propose adjustments, and consider some legal provisions if there are any shortcomings. Focus on doing a good job in enforcing judgments, helping Quang Nam avoid prolonged incidents and complicated hot spots related to internal affairs and enforcement work..." - said comrade Phan Thai Binh.
