National Geographic suggests historical destinations in three regions on National Day

Less than a month to go until the 80th anniversary of National Day, September 2nd. Recently, the prestigious National Geographic magazine has suggested historical destinations in Vietnam for world tourists.

This year's National Day holiday, September 2, lasts four days. This is also a special occasion, marking the 80th anniversary of Uncle Ho reading the Declaration of Independence, giving birth to the Democratic Republic of Vietnam, now the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.

National Geographic suggests 8 destinations in the provinces of Hanoi , Ho Chi Minh City, Quang Tri and Quang Ngai.

In Hanoi, the two destinations mentioned by this magazine are Hoa Lo Prison and the Vietnam Military History Museum.

Along the country, when coming to Quang Tri , tourists can visit two places associated with the resistance war for national independence: Vinh Moc tunnels and the two banks of Hien Luong - Ben Hai.

In Quang Ngai, National Geographic mentioned My Son Relics - where every tree branch and blade of grass is associated with unforgettable memories.

In Ho Chi Minh City, three historical destinations not to be missed this time are the War Remnants Museum, Independence Palace and Cu Chi Tunnels.

All the destinations suggested by National Geographic are places associated with the heroic years of struggle of our army and people to protect peace and independence for the nation.

In particular, on this September 2nd holiday in Hanoi, there will be many activities to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the successful August Revolution and National Day September 2nd, including the military parade through Ba Dinh Square on the morning of September 2nd.
