Jungkook has always been famous for his delicious cooking skills, the "youngest member of BTS" often shares unique dishes with fans.
Dishes like Bulguri noodles, oatmeal noodles mixed with perilla oil or fried rice are probably too familiar to ARMY (fan community name).
Jungkook changed his career to become a chef
According to Korean media, industry sources confirmed that Jungkook is taking on the role of chef in the unit after completing his basic training program.
In his latest post on Weverse, Jungkook asked about his fans' health and also revealed his new role in the military:
"I'm doing well and working out really hard... And I'm a good cook too."

This information immediately made the keyword "Jungkook Formula" viral again thanks to the enthusiastic sharing of fans.
Among the recipes that Jungkook has shared, the two most popular and loved ones are Bulguri noodles - a combination of two Korean spicy noodle brands: Buldak ramen (spicy chicken noodles), Neoguri (spicy seafood noodles) and Makguksu noodles (buckwheat noodles with perilla oil).

How Jungkook cooks Bulguri noodles
- Heat 650 - 680ml water in a pan.
- Add all of the Buldak ramen sauce, the dry ingredient packet, and half of the Neoguri seasoning packet to the soup.
- Bring to a boil, add green onions and 2 portions of instant noodles, boil until noodles are cooked.
- Finally, sprinkle with roasted sesame seeds and seaweed.
The special ingredient of the Bulguri noodle recipe is 1-2 tablespoons of perilla oil, this is the secret to making the noodle flavor richer and much more delicious.

Jungkook's recipe is so famous that the noodle company Neoguri filed a copyright application for the names "Bulguri" and "Bulgeuri". The American magazine Rolling Stone also published his special noodle recipe.
Besides Bulguri, Jungkook's Makguksu (buckwheat noodles with perilla oil) recipe is also "viral".
How Jungkook cooks Makguksu noodles
- Boil noodles in the right amount.
- After 5 minutes of cooking, rinse with cold water to remove excess starch.
- Add 4 tablespoons perilla oil, 1 tablespoon Buldak sauce, 1 tablespoon mayonnaise, 2 tablespoons soy sauce and 1 egg yolk. You can add minced garlic or chili powder as desired.
- Mix the sauce well and pour it over the cooked noodles, add dried seaweed to enhance the flavor of the mixed noodles.
