This "special" flower only grows in acidic soil and blooms for four hours a day in the late morning at 10:30 and fades in the afternoon around 14:30. They create a brilliant yellow carpet of flowers in the middle of the cool green cajuput forest at the 4th Ramsar site of Vietnam and the 2,000th in the world .

Mr. Le Hoang Long, Director of Tram Chim tourist area, said that Tram Chim National Park is divided into many ecosystems such as animals, plants, cajuput forests, seasonal flooded fields, reed grass fields, wild rice fields, sedge and swamp ecosystems.

"Last year, the Yellow-headed Orchid did not bloom, but this year it bloomed profusely and in large numbers. This is thanks to the reasonable water level regulation. The flowers usually appear in areas A4 and A5, but currently the flowers appear a lot in area A4," Mr. Long added.

Interesting destinations for visitors during Lunar New Year

According to Mr. Long, the Indian yellow flower only blooms once a year and lasts for about two months. After the flower fades, at this location, there will appear golden needles - the favorite food of red-crowned cranes.

"We are very happy that the Hoang Dau An flowers bloom right on the days before the Lunar New Year of Giap Thin 2024. This is an opportunity for tourists to visit, experience and take photos. Therefore, Tram Chim tourist area will start welcoming guests on January 27, 2024," Mr. Long informed.

This car will take visitors to the field of yellow trumpet flowers to experience many interesting things.

Following the first group of tourists to the blooming field of Hoang Dau An flowers at Tram Chim National Park, the reporter had the experience of sitting on a tac rang (a small motorboat - reporter) through the cajuput forest and began the journey of "hunting for photos" on the carpet of yellow flowers spread out in the middle of the immense green forest.

Sharing about this interesting journey, Ms. Lam Kim Ngoan (30 years old, living in Ho Chi Minh City) shared that she was really surprised when she came to Tram Chim tourist area today and was introduced to visit the field of yellow trumpet flowers.

"This is the first time I have experienced something interesting with a bright yellow flower field like this. It was even more interesting when the tour guide introduced the Hoang Dau An flower as a wild flower but it creates a highlight for Tram Chim," said Ms. Ngoan.

Next to that, Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Nhan (34 years old, living in Cao Lanh city, Dong Thap province) said that in the past few days, he saw many people sharing pictures of the yellow-headed Indian flowers blooming at Tram Chim National Park on social networks. Mr. Nhan said: "It is very interesting that this year the yellow trumpet flowers bloom on the days before Lunar New Year. This is an opportunity for tourists to have more time to come and explore and immerse themselves in the fields of blooming yellow flowers."

The shimmering yellow color of Indian orchids is blooming brilliantly in the world's 2,000th Ramsar site.

"Tram Chim tourist area always diversifies tourism services, especially seasonal products and services, with unique and distinctive features to attract visitors and experiencers.

The red-crowned crane is listed as vulnerable in the Red List of Threatened Species of the International Union for Conservation of Nature and Natural Resources (IUCN).

In 2021, three red-crowned cranes arrived at Tram Chim National Park and from 2022 until now, no cranes have been seen here.
