In her opening speech, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union, President of the Vietnam Youth Union of An Giang province, Thi Phuong Hong, affirmed that the Kinh, Hoa, Cham and Khmer ethnic communities have long lived together, united, and built a colorful cultural picture rich in identity, but still united in their love for their homeland and country.

“The exchange program is not only an opportunity to meet and strengthen solidarity between ethnic youths, but also a colorful cultural space. The program will add strength to the solidarity of the youth of the four ethnic groups Kinh, Hoa, Cham, and Khmer; together affirming that despite any changes in administrative organization, solidarity and compatriotism will always be strong, joining hands to build the homeland to be more and more prosperous and civilized", Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union Thi Phuong Hong emphasized.
Performances at the program.
At the program, union members and youths performed songs, dances and music of the Kinh, Hoa, Cham and Khmer ethnic groups. All blended into a vivid picture, depicting the spirit of solidarity and unity of the youth of the ethnic groups.
