Kim Boi Commune Police support people to get back mistakenly transferred money

According to information from Kim Boi Commune Police, at around 3:00 p.m. on September 3, Ms. Bui Thi Hoa, born in 1990, residing in Doi 1 Hamlet, Kim Boi Commune, received 50 million VND transferred into her personal account from an unknown account number. Because she did not know who transferred the money and for what purpose, Ms. Hoa went to Kim Boi Commune Police to report the incident.

After receiving the information, Captain Bui Thi Hong Tham - Criminal Police on duty at the Commune Police reported to the Commune Police Commander, and quickly verified and contacted the bank to check the content and information of the account holder who had transferred the money by mistake. Thereby, it was determined that the person who transferred the money by mistake was Ms. Bui Thanh Huyen, born in 1976, residing in Vo Khang hamlet, Kim Boi commune, so she contacted Ms. Huyen. At the same time, she did the necessary procedures to support both parties to transfer back the full amount of money.

Receiving the mistakenly transferred money thanks to the support of Kim Boi Commune Police, Ms. Bui Thanh Huyen was extremely moved and thanked the Commune Police as well as Ms. Bui Thi Hoa.

With the support of Kim Boi Commune Police, Ms. Bui Thanh Huyen (pink shirt) received back 50 million VND that was mistakenly transferred.

Through this, Kim Boi Commune Police advises people that when they receive money mistakenly transferred into their account from a stranger, they should report to the nearest police station for support, to prevent being "trapped" by scammers' tricks from mistakenly transferring money.
