On the occasion of the Lunar New Year 2024, Thanh Hoa Provincial Museum will display nearly 100 valuable antiques associated with the image of Vietnamese dragons from the Dong Son culture period to the 20th century for people and tourists to visit.

Mr. Trinh Dinh Duong, Director of Thanh Hoa Provincial Museum, said that the dragon is a cultural symbol, a spiritual product formed in the process of human perception of the natural world and society.

In the minds of the Vietnamese people, the dragon is the origin of the nation. The artifacts displayed at the museum, the image of the dragon is diversely expressed in all aspects of social life from architecture, costumes, fine arts to household items in the royal court, religious beliefs...

Bronze bell from the Nguyen Dynasty with a design featuring a dragon embossed on the body and handle of the bell.

The Quan Tay tree is made of wood, with decorative motifs and patterns of dragons. This antique was made in the 19th-20th century.
