Party Internal Affairs Sector reviews work in the first 6 months of 2025

(GLO)- On the morning of July 10, the Central Internal Affairs Committee held an online conference to review the work of the first 6 months of 2025 and disseminate and implement the direction of General Secretary To Lam on internal affairs, preventing and combating corruption, waste, negativity and judicial reform.

Comrade Phan Dinh Trac - Member of the Politburo , Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Internal Affairs Commission chaired the conference. Attending the conference at the Gia Lai province bridge was Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Rah Lan Chung.

At the conference, the leaders of the Central Internal Affairs Commission thoroughly grasped the direction of General Secretary To Lam at the working session with the Central Internal Affairs Commission on May 22, 2025.

Specifically, General Secretary To Lam emphasized 3 major orientations and 6 tasks that need to be focused on. In particular, internal affairs must aim to maintain stability for national development; ensure both anti-corruption, waste, and negativity, and economic development with a GDP growth rate of at least 8% in 2025 and double-digit growth in the coming period; closely follow and serve the goal of building a clean and strong Party.

Regarding the results of work in the first 6 months of the year, the Central Internal Affairs Committee has actively researched and advised on many major and strategic policies and guidelines on internal affairs, preventing and combating corruption, waste, negativity and judicial reform.

The Committee also proactively coordinates to grasp the situation, strengthens monitoring, guidance, urging, inspection, supervision, promptly advises and directs the handling of complicated issues, contributing to ensuring security, order and social safety.

In the past 6 months, the Central Internal Affairs Committee has received and processed more than 3,400 complaints, denunciations, petitions and reflections. The internal affairs committees of provincial and municipal Party committees have organized more than 340 meetings and dialogues with citizens.

In the last 6 months of 2025, the Central Commission for Internal Affairs will continue to seriously and effectively implement the plan to disseminate and deploy the conclusions of General Secretary To Lam to raise awareness and responsibility of cadres, party members and civil servants of the Party Internal Affairs sector.

The Committee is also determined to build a clean and strong Party Internal Affairs sector and carry out activities towards the 60th anniversary of the sector's founding.

Concluding the conference, Head of the Central Internal Affairs Commission Phan Dinh Trac highly appreciated the results achieved, and at the same time requested to overcome existing problems and obstacles, especially the situation of shifting, avoiding, and fearing responsibility.

Comrade Phan Dinh Trac expressed his belief that all cadres and party members of the Central Internal Affairs Commission will uphold their sense of responsibility, make greater efforts, unite and coordinate better to excellently complete the assigned tasks.
