Hon Village Festival

The 2023 Lu ethnic cultural festival opened in Ban Tham, Ban Hon commune, Tam Duong district, Lai Chau province (now Khun Ha commune, Lai Chau province).

Author Yen Anh Khong submitted to the "Happy Vietnam 2025" Contest with the work "Ban Hon Festival". Place of composition: Rung Chung Village, Lap Thach Commune, Phu Tho Province, Khun Ha Commune, Lai Chau , Vietnam.

Introduction: The 2023 Lu ethnic cultural festival was opened in Ban Tham, Ban Hon commune, Tam Duong district, Lai Chau province (now Khun Ha commune, Lai Chau province). The cultural festival was organized with many rich activities such as: Stick pushing competition; Tug of war competition; Bamboo weaving competition; Stream fishing competition; Culinary competition; Sticky rice blowing and decorating; Mass art competition, Lu ethnic costume performance; Xoe dance... This is a cultural event held annually to recreate the long-standing cultural space of the Lu people. In order to honor, introduce and promote the good traditional cultural values ​​of the Lu people in particular and the ethnic groups of Lai Chau province in general. Along with the potential bestowed by nature, Tam Duong district has been creating leverage for tourism development and attracting tourists from all over.
