The third working day and closing session of the 10th Central Conference, 13th tenure

On September 20, the third working day and closing session of the 10th Central Conference of the 13th tenure took place at the Party Central Committee Headquarters. General Secretary and President To Lam delivered the closing speech. National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man chaired the Conference.

Morning: The Party Central Committee worked at the Hall, elected two additional members of the Central Inspection Commission , including: Comrade Ha Quoc Tri, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the National Assembly Delegation of the 15th term of Khanh Hoa province and Comrade Dinh Van Cuong, Head of Department of Localities I, Central Inspection Commission.

The Central Committee recorded the nomination of personnel for the Politburo and Secretariat for the 14th term, 2026-2031 term, and supplemented the planning for the Party Central Committee for the 14th term, 2026-2031 term.

Afterwards, the Politburo and the Secretariat met to give opinions on receiving and explaining the Central Committee's discussion opinions at the Conference.

Afternoon: Central Executive Committee of the Party discuss and give opinions on the policy for the Project to establish Hue city under the Central Government and hold the closing session.

Comrade Tran Thanh Man, Politburo member and Chairman of the National Assembly, chaired the meeting on behalf of the Politburo. Politburo members, on behalf of the Politburo, presented the Politburo's reports on acceptance and explanation.

Comrade Nguyen Xuan Thang, Politburo member, Director of the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics, Chairman of the Central Theoretical Council, presented a Report on reception and explanation of the draft Political Report to be submitted to the 14th National Party Congress; a Report summarizing a number of theoretical and practical issues on the socialist-oriented renovation process in Vietnam over the past 40 years.

Comrade Nguyen Hoa Binh, Politburo member, Permanent Deputy Prime Minister of the Government presented a report on receiving and explaining the group of socio-economic, financial-budgetary issues; and the policy of building a high-speed railway line on the North-South axis.

Comrade Le Minh Hung, Politburo member, Party Central Committee Secretary, Head of the Party Central Committee's Organization Commission, presented a report on the reception and explanation of a group of issues related to Party building work, implementation of the Party Charter and amendments and supplements to the Party's election regulations; summarizing the personnel work of the 13th tenure and the direction of personnel work of the Party Central Committee, 14th tenure.

Comrade Luong Cuong, Politburo member and Standing member of the Secretariat, presented the draft Resolution of the 10th Conference of the 13th Party Central Committee.
