Nghi Xuan honors 26 outstanding female cadres and members

26 female cadres and members in Nghi Xuan (Ha Tinh) are typical "flowers" in the movement of association activities and local economic development in the period 2021 - 2023.

On the morning of October 16, the Nghi Xuan District Women's Union held a meeting to celebrate the traditional day of the Vietnam Women's Union (October 20) and to honor outstanding female cadres and members in various fields for the period 2021-2023. Chairwoman of the Provincial Women's Union Nguyen Thi Le Ha also attended.

Chairwoman of Nghi Xuan District Women's Union Nguyen Thi Thu Trang reviewed the traditions and outstanding results in the movement of the union at all levels in recent times.

In recent years, the work of the association and the women's movement in Nghi Xuan district has had many innovations and creations, contributing positively to the development of the association organization to become stronger and stronger. The association at all levels always encourages women to overcome difficulties, making the most of external resources to create a combined strength for the development of the women's movement and the association organization.

The Women's Union at all levels has focused on improving the quality and effectiveness of managing capital sources entrusted to social policy banks, Ha Tinh Women's Development Fund, women's credit and savings funds, local savings sources, and savings at branches with a total capital of nearly 398 billion VND for loans to more than 4,370 households, helping women develop production, raise livestock, and start businesses.

Thereby, many exemplary association officials are both owners of production and business models, dynamic, creative, and actively engaged in production with many practical and effective movements.

Chairwoman of the Provincial Women's Union Nguyen Thi Le Ha: Nghi Xuan Women's Union needs to continue to arouse and promote the sense of responsibility of female cadres and members so that the union's movement can increasingly develop in all fields, contributing to building a civilized and modern Nghi Xuan district.

In particular, responding to the "Godmother" program launched by the Central Committee of the Vietnam Women's Union, the District Women's Union has deployed the role of connecting, receiving, and allocating support resources, ensuring that children have access and effective use. Up to now, the whole district has had 104 orphans in especially difficult circumstances receiving sponsorship with a support level of 300,000 VND/month or more.

In the coming time, the Women's Union of Nghi Xuan district will direct all levels of the union and its members to continue to innovate in union activities and replicate models that bring practical results to the community, contributing to building great national unity, creating consensus in society, building the Party, and building a clean and strong government.
