Loving house, solar power supports people in highlands

TPO - “House of Love” and rooftop solar power system are two projects that have just been connected and supported with resources by the Youth Union and the young Vietnamese business community to be deployed in mountainous areas with many difficulties; helping people stabilize their lives, escape poverty, and improve the local socio-economic conditions.

The Provincial Youth Union - Vietnam Youth Union of Lai Chau province in coordination with the Lai Chau Young Entrepreneurs Association and other organizing units have just started construction of two "Love Houses" for families in especially difficult circumstances.

The two households that were awarded the “Loving House” were Mr. Lu A Lu and Mr. Lu A Cang in Ngai Thau Cao village (Khun Ha commune, Lai Chau province). Both households were in extremely difficult circumstances and lived in a dilapidated house that was not safe.

Along with the support amount of 70 million VND/household to build houses, the working group presented many meaningful gifts of encouragement, helping households stabilize their lives.

According to the Organizing Committee, the project is sponsored by the Central Fund of the Vietnam Young Entrepreneurs Association, demonstrating the spirit of sharing, solidarity and social responsibility of the young business community.

This is a meaningful activity, contributing to spreading good values, while affirming the pioneering role of young entrepreneurs in the movement "Join hands to eliminate temporary houses", for a prosperous and happy life of the people.

The project is also a practical activity to welcome the 2nd Congress, term 2025 - 2030 of the Lai Chau Provincial Young Entrepreneurs Association.

Lighting up the electric field in the highlands

Together towards the disadvantaged areas to share and donate resources to contribute to improving socio -economic conditions, the Vietnam Young Entrepreneurs Association and Intech Vietnam Green Energy Company (Intech Solar) handed over the solar power system to Lung Cao school, Giap Trung commune, Tuyen Quang province.

Lung Cao school is the only school in Giap Trung commune that does not have national grid electricity. The school has 49 preschool students and 47 primary school students.

The solar power system is installed on the roof, with a capacity of 6 kW, storing 14 kWh. The project has a total value of 150 million VND.

Bringing the solar power system to the school not only serves the learning needs of students but also affirms the interest of the community and businesses in sustainable development in remote areas.

This is also the fifth project implemented since the Vietnam Young Entrepreneurs Association and Intech Energy signed a cooperation agreement, and the second project to be deployed in 2025.

In the coming time, the two sides will continue to install rooftop solar power systems for other highland schools in the coming time, with the goal of contributing to improving the quality of life and creating conditions for children to have a better learning and living environment.
