The bride and groom were splashed with dirty substances by a woman during the wedding procession.

Ms. Thuy was fined for dumping and throwing dirty substances at others. Before that, Ms. Thuy voluntarily corrected the consequences and publicly apologized to the bride and groom in front of the people of Xuan Son village.

The victim did not request compensation for damages or initiate a lawsuit, but asked the police to consider reducing the sentence for Ms. Thuy.

As Thanh Nien reported, Ms. Thuy and Mr. Duong Van Hai (43 years old, living in the same village) were in a relationship. However, the two could not get married because Mr. Hai's family forbade it.

After that, Mr. Hai fell in love with another woman in the same village. At noon on October 4, Mr. Hai held a wedding ceremony. During the wedding procession , Mrs. Bui Thi Thuy suddenly threw dirty substances on the bride and groom. The incident was recorded by a local resident using a phone and posted on Facebook.

Luu Vinh Son Commune Police determined that one of Ms. Thuy's children was related to the groom. For this reason, Ms. Thuy threw dirty substances on the bride and groom during the wedding procession.
