Determined to build Ha Tinh homeland to become increasingly rich and civilized

After 2.5 days of urgent, active and serious work, at noon on October 2, the 20th Congress of Ha Tinh Provincial Party Committee, term 2025 - 2030, successfully closed.

Promoting the spirit of democracy and innovation, ensuring the Party's principles, the Congress elected 55 comrades to join the Provincial Party Executive Committee, term XX. At the first meeting, the Provincial Party Executive Committee of Ha Tinh, term XX, elected 15 comrades to the Provincial Party Standing Committee; elected comrade Nguyen Duy Lam to hold the position of Provincial Party Secretary, comrade Nguyen Hong Linh and comrade Vo Trong Hai to hold the position of Deputy Provincial Party Secretaries; elected the Inspection Committee and Chairman of the Provincial Party Inspection Committee for the term 2025 - 2030.

The Congress elected a delegation of 21 official delegates and 2 alternate delegates, representing the intelligence and solidarity of more than 100,000 party members of the Ha Tinh Provincial Party Committee to attend the 14th National Congress of the Party.

In his closing speech at the Congress, Ha Tinh Provincial Party Secretary Nguyen Duy Lam emphasized that the success of the 20th Congress is a great source of encouragement and motivation for the entire Party Committee and people of Ha Tinh to continue to overcome difficulties, seize favorable opportunities, make the most of resources, and be determined to build an increasingly prosperous, civilized, and sustainably developed homeland.

The Secretary of the Ha Tinh Provincial Party Committee also requested that immediately after the Congress, Party committees and organizations at all levels focus on disseminating and widely propagating the Congress results; organize research and seriously grasp the Congress documents; promptly develop and implement programs and action plans, launch a widespread patriotic emulation movement, promote innovation and creativity, overcome all difficulties and challenges to soon bring the Congress Resolution into life.

With a spirit of innovation and high responsibility, the delegates participated in lively, frank, democratic and highly unified discussions, approving important documents including the Political Report, the Review Report of the 19th Provincial Party Executive Committee and the Report synthesizing comments on the draft documents to be submitted to the 14th National Congress of the Party. The Congress conducted an objective and comprehensive assessment of the outstanding results in the past term; frankly pointed out the limitations and shortcomings; analyzed the causes and drew 5 profound lessons.

The Congress passed the Resolution of the 20th Congress of Ha Tinh Provincial Party Committee, term 2025-2030, identifying the theme: "Building a clean and strong Party and political system; promoting the tradition of solidarity, cultural values, people and high-quality human resources of Ha Tinh; innovation, comprehensive, fast and sustainable development"; with the motto: Solidarity - Democracy - Discipline - Breakthrough - Development.

The Congress unanimously set out 31 specific targets, identified 5 key tasks, 3 breakthroughs and focused on implementing 17 main groups of solutions. The province identified a number of important targets such as an average GRDP growth rate of 10% or more; GRDP structure by 2030: industry - construction accounts for 51%, services 40%, agriculture 9%; GRDP per capita reaches 168 million VND; average income per capita reaches 80 million VND. The province strives to have 18,000-20,000 enterprises by 2030; urbanization rate reaches 38%; digital government ranking is in the top 15/34 leading provinces and cities nationwide.

The Congress Resolution also determined to synchronously deploy key solutions in the coming term: Strengthening the building of a clean and strong Party and political system; enhancing the comprehensive and direct leadership capacity of Party committees at all levels in building and enforcing laws; effectively mobilizing resources to implement strategic orientations, breakthroughs in "one driving force center, three economic corridors, four key sectors, three urban areas"; promoting private economic development, applying science and technology, innovation, digital transformation; promoting cultural values, people, famous people of Ha Tinh, heritages honored by UNESCO; comprehensively reforming education, developing high-quality human resources; thoroughly grasping and concretizing resolutions of the Central Committee and the Politburo on national defense and security; improving the effectiveness of foreign affairs and international integration.

The Congress identified three important breakthroughs: Promoting digital transformation on three pillars of digital government, digital economy, and digital society; developing, attracting, and utilizing high-quality human resources, building a team of prestigious and practically competent officials; developing synchronous and modern infrastructure, attracting strategic investment projects, focusing on Vung Ang Economic Zone to become the industrial - energy - seaport - logistics center of the region and the whole country.

Through the discussion, many opinions were expressed with passion and depth, demonstrating a sense of responsibility, intelligence and aspiration to contribute to the development of the province. The Congress seriously accepted and assigned the Provincial Party Executive Committee, term XX, to continue to research, concretize and effectively implement in the new term.

Recently, Ha Tinh has directly suffered from 2 storms, especially in the past 2 days, storm No. 10 made landfall directly in Ha Tinh, causing heavy damage. On this occasion, the Secretary of the Ha Tinh Provincial Party Committee sent his warm regards and deep condolences to the people, comrades and businesses; at the same time, commended the efforts of all levels, sectors, forces and people in the work of preventing, combating and overcoming the consequences of natural disasters.

Ha Tinh Provincial Party Secretary Nguyen Duy Lam also requested all levels, sectors, forces and the entire people to continue to focus on implementing the directives and telegrams of the Central Government and the province; quickly overcome the consequences of natural disasters, soon stabilize life and restore production.

At the Congress, on behalf of the Provincial Party Executive Committee, term XX, comrade Nguyen Hong Linh, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Ha Tinh province, launched a call on all cadres, party members, armed forces, business community, agencies, units, organizations and people of all walks of life to join hands to support people affected by storm No. 10.
