Cause of the fire that killed 3 mothers and children in Thanh Tri

On the evening of October 26, Hanoi City Police released initial information related to the fire that occurred in Tu Hiep commune (Thanh Tri district) that killed 3 people .

Accordingly, at about 5:40 p.m. the same day, the Hanoi City Police Command Information Center received a report from the public about a fire at a level 4 house in the new Hong Ha road area (near Hong Ha apartment building, Tu Hiep commune, Thanh Tri district).

A fire broke out after a hair straightener hit a hairspray can and caused it to explode.

The City Police Command Information Center mobilized the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police force of the City Police and Thanh Tri District Police to the scene to organize fire fighting and rescue.

By 6:09 p.m. the same day, the fire was completely extinguished. Rescue forces finished searching for the missing victims.

Police are investigating the cause of the fire.

As a result, 1 injured person was taken to the emergency room, 3 people were found dead.

Property damage is being counted and clarified.

According to information provided by the injured person, at the time of the fire, the family was using a specialized scrap press when they pressed a hairspray can, causing it to explode and catch fire.
