Handsome Gen Z musician with an old soul

Singer Ha Tran praised the first time she met young musician Do Hoang Long, saying 'he looked handsome but didn't say anything', but when he gave her the song, she was convinced.

The music album Let's Talk marks the debut of Gen Z musician Do Hoang Long (born in 2000). He converses with veteran singers with long experience in Vietnamese music such as Ha Tran, Tung Duong, Thuy Chi, Khanh Linh, Nguyen Tran Trung Quan, Dong Hung.

Do Hoang Long is a member of Hoai Sa Band and was mentored by musician Hoai Sa on his career path.

'Young musician with an old soul'

Singer Khanh Linh, who also contributed vocals to the album, shared on her personal page: "Do Hoang Long is a young musician that I just met on Facebook, and then listening to his music, talking and chatting with him, I found this life so lovely because it allowed me to meet a young musician with an old soul.

Behind the album Let's Say is the production team including musician Hoai Sa and Hoai Sa Band in charge of music arrangement; musician Quan Nguyen (Quan Nguyen Band) arranging and arranging the song; musician - producer Nguyen Hoang Duy as music consultant.

On the evening of October 7, the MV for the song “Let’s Talk” performed by Ha Tran and Thuy Chi was also released. Singer Ha Tran said the quality of this song made her nod when Do Hoang Long asked her to sing it.

"The reason we collaborated was simply that I saw a handsome boy sitting behind the others without saying anything. When Long gave me the song to talk about, I said: You sit still, I'll find you a love affair. Just sit still, let me handle the song" - Ha Tran said.

She promised to "matchmake" the Gen Z musician for the audience so that his music can reach more people.

Tung Duong finds sympathy in Do Hoang Long

Due to the storm in Hanoi, singer Tung Duong could not go to Ho Chi Minh City to attend the event. He shared through a video : "I really love the song Illusion that Hoang Long composed for my album Multiverse last year. I found great sympathy in it. I hope your new album will leave its mark in Vietnamese music."

Tung Duong will sing a new composition by Do Hoang Long, which will be revealed in the near future.

Singer Nguyen Tran Trung Quan further supported Do Hoang Long with his knowledge of vocal music. He thinks that musicians should have vocal expertise to know how to analyze singing voices and how to work with singers when sending them new songs.

With the theme "From social darkness to inner light", the album Let's Talk includes 8 songs, each song carries a separate slice of life, emotions and inner conflicts that young people are facing.

Musician Do Hoang Long shared: "The album was written from scratches, not to complain, but to let light in. To me, music cannot change the world , but it can move and heal each person."
