Contrary to Barbara Schett's opinion, tennis player Daniil Medvedev highly appreciates Nadal in big tournaments: "It's always very difficult to beat Nadal. For me, matches against Nadal end worse than against Djokovic, in some ways."

The Russian tennis player also said that the competition at the 2024 Australian Open promises to be very fierce: "I fell out of the top 10 last season so you can imagine the fierceness of ATP tournaments.

Meanwhile, sharing on Eurosport , former British tennis player Tim Henman commented on Nadal's Grand Slam hunting goal in 2024: "Rafael is not coming back to reach the quarterfinals and semi-finals of tournaments. He wants to win the biggest titles including Grand Slams.

Rafael Nadal's form at the start of the 2024 season will dictate whether he is capable of winning more titles or not."
