Picked up lost property, 12th grade student reported to the police to find the owner

On September 10, Duong Minh Chau Commune Police (Tay Ninh Province) organized the return of an iPhone 11 worth nearly 10 million VND to Ms. Nguyen Thi Tam (53 years old, residing in Phuoc Loi 2 Hamlet, Duong Minh Chau Commune) after receiving it from a student who picked it up on her way home from school.

Previously, at 10:50 a.m. the same day, Doan Hung Anh (17 years old), a student of class 12D1, Duong Minh Chau High School, on his way home from school, accidentally discovered a cell phone dropped on the side of the road. Immediately after that, Hung Anh proactively brought it to the Duong Minh Chau Commune Police Station to report and ask for verification and to find the owner.

Upon receiving the report, the Commune Police quickly conducted an inspection, verified the information and determined that the phone belonged to Ms. Nguyen Thi Tam. The Commune Police invited Ms. Tam to the headquarters to carry out the procedures for returning the property.

Receiving the phone back, Ms. Tam expressed her emotion, thanked the student for his noble gesture and honest spirit, and sent her gratitude to the police force for their timely support./.
