The person with the longest and most successful experience in raising cows in Tam Quan Nam, Hoai Nhon Town, Binh Dinh Province is Mr. Nguyen Thanh Ca (born in 1959, in Trung Hoa quarter).
In 2016, he was selected by Binh Dinh Livestock Breeding Center as a pilot to implement a high-quality beef cattle breeding model, and was trained and taken on field trips to see super meat cattle breeds, including 3B cattle.
Mr. Ca confided: Although I was a bit hesitant about investing in the 3B cow breed, I still boldly bought 5 cows to try raising. After 14-15 months of raising, my herd of cows weighed an average of 5-6 quintals/cow with a selling price of 45-50 million VND/cow, making a profit of 15 million VND/cow.
Realizing that the 3B cow breed has many outstanding advantages such as: voracious appetite, fast growth, easy to raise, not requiring much effort to herd, and can be sold at a high price, I boldly invested over 100 million VND to build 2 large-scale barns to increase the herd.
I raise 3B cows in a concentrated manner, raising 6-8 cows at a time. Since then, I have sold an average of 10 cows each year, earning a profit of over 100 million VND.

Mr. Ho Van Thanh (born in 1970, in Cuu Loi Nam neighborhood) also boldly invested in raising 3B cows with a scale of 8 cows. From 2018 to now, each year he raises and sells 10-12 beef cows, earning over 120 million VND.
Mr. Thanh calculated that a 3B cow costs from 18 to 20 million VND, the cost of feed during the raising and fattening period until selling is about 15 million VND, plus the cost of care until selling, the price of each cow ranges from 50 to 55 million VND, profit from 10 to 15 million VND/cow.
While many people focus on raising 3B cows for commercial purposes, Ms. Le Thi Anh only raises 3B cows for breeding. Since 2016, Ms. Anh has maintained raising 6 Sind crossbred cows for 3B breeding.
Since then, each year her sows have given birth to 8-10 breeding calves. Each breeding calf, after being raised for 6-8 months, can be sold for about 15 million VND, while a good male calf can be sold for up to 20 million VND.
Mr. Nguyen Van Chu, Vice Chairman of Tam Quan Nam Ward People's Committee (Hoai Nhon Town, Binh Dinh Province) said: In the context of increasingly narrowing livestock grazing environment, the fact that hundreds of households are gradually changing from free-range cattle farming to raising super-meat crossbred cattle in barns associated with ensuring environmental sanitation is a truly effective direction.
Through the 3B super beef cattle farming model, it contributes to creating unique strengths in local livestock farming and increasing economic efficiency from livestock farming for farmers.
