Novaland denies information about Chairman Bui Thanh Nhon's resignation

ANTD.VN - Novaland Group affirmed that the information that Mr. Bui Thanh Nhon asked to resign from the position of Chairman of the Board of Directors is fabricated, causing misunderstanding for shareholders and customers.

Previously, on January 14, information spread on social networks that Mr. Bui Thanh Nhon had just submitted a resignation letter from the position of Chairman of the Board of Directors of Novaland Group (HOSE: NVL), and resigned from the Board of Directors of the Group from January 20.

Novaland Group affirms that the above information is false. “With this announcement, Novaland affirms that this is fabricated information, completely false, causing serious misunderstanding for customers, partners, shareholders, investors of Novaland, causing public uproar” – Novaland’s announcement clearly stated.

Novaland confirmed that Mr. Bui Thanh Nhon is still holding the position of Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Group.

This enterprise affirmed that, at present, it still maintains stable production and business activities and there is no disruption in the Board of Directors.

“Mr. Bui Thanh Nhon – Chairman of the Board of Directors of Novaland Group is still holding the position, directly directing and guiding the Group’s activities. Novaland is resolutely recovering, making efforts to fulfill its commitments to ensure the best interests of stakeholders, for sustainable development” – Novaland said.

On the stock market, NVL shares have continuously fallen sharply, especially in the last 3 sessions. In the trading session on January 14, this stock fell 5.69% to VND8,950/share, the lowest price in history since being listed at the end of 2016.

Since the beginning of 2024, NVL shares have decreased by nearly 47%. Compared to the record of 92,366 VND set at the end of June 2021, the market price has decreased by more than 10 times.
